Giornata dell’Archeologia Italiana all’estero

On Tuesday 9 May 2023, the first Day of Italian Archaeology abroad was held at the Campidoglio in Rome. The event was organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to present the Farnesina's commitment to support archaeological expeditions around the world (currently there are 246 Italian archaeological missions, operating in 66 countries co-financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs). The CRAST, which has been operating on behalf of the MAECI for 60 years in the Middle East, North Africa, and Central and Eastern Asia, participated in the event.
